Back then I was just OSRS GP an teen, and I was eager to play runescape because I thought it was amazing I could play an avatar and roam around a whole world and go wherever I wanted. I played through the an island tutorial, and began with only a few coins (I think it was 12 gp lol? .
I took my role of adventurer seriously and was always prepared to take on any and all using my bronze and wooden sword. Smithing and mine were my favourite abilities at the time. I wanted to make full-iron armor, and was eager to find out more about the various shades (mithril LOL). Where did you get your knowledge about running games, and what are your suggestions? Sal's Realm of Runescape, of course! These years have seen many changes in runescape... and, unfortunately most of them weren't very good.
I was adamant about bot nukeday and its infernal delays, I didn’t like the dungeoneering (smithing was no longer a viable option), and I hated that there were so many scammers in the game. (I clicked a "link to a fake Runescape.com where I lost my password... Yes even the best players). All my dragon armor was stolen (thankfully my cash was secure in my account). All of these things were major problems, but there were two important factors that made me quit:
Jagex offered poor customer service. It was as if they didn’t care that I got scammed. Jagex came up the original idea of bringing back Runescape 2007 as a solution instead of fixing the game.
Runescape appears to have drastically changed in the past two years. I'd love to come back however, I've been so busy with university senior year that it seems I don’t have the time. Although many of those problems I mentioned still exist, I will always love this game because of the wonderful memories it brought me.
How could I forget the victory of Elvarg in Dragon Slayer? What could I do to forget The Chosen Commander when I completed it? There are numerous memorable quests that I haven't even begun to list. Anyway, although I don't believe I'll return in the near future, I do hope that this community will be around for a long time. Thank for your support Runescape!
Hello all! JagexHQ has been watching the Ironman Challenge rise in popularity. We have loved seeing the players finish the challenge on YouTube videos and livestreams.
It's the Ironman Challenge. It is a community-craze that requires players to create an original RuneScape Character and to be completely independent. It is only possible to use resources and equipment and cannot get assistance from anyone else. It's an enjoyable game that test your abilities and provides you with the experience of being a newcomer to RuneScape. Even veterans are able to enjoy it.
