The dev upgrade opportunities occur too often for there never to be some downgrades. I thought I heard that play vs CPU will be team based. Such as the ravenslonger will run and the chiefs and bucs will toss more. That's interesting! I think they already have that though. Chiefs will almost always have 3 wide, SF includes a FB a great deal of the time, etc.. However, as it is team and trainer established, it doesn't operate using a fantasy draft in Franchise. For instance, the 49ers could draft Lamar Jackson but then they won't run together with him because QB runs aren't in Shanahan's system.
I mean it is not running 3 WR's. It is stuff like the Madden 20 dump offs to TE's and RB's will disappear. Teams such as the chiefs and Bucs take advantage of men like Godwin, Mike Evans and tyreek and will throw downfield. Ravens are going to have RPO and see alternative plays. Franchise is where it will be different and I am not sure it'll do the job for draft. Wether if it's trainer based or it is dependent upon the players attributes is where it's be interesting. They said a coverage feature which lets you stick closer to a reciever on press plays and from my comprehension'tethers' you to the covered guy. This then gives more space for user feedback that is suitable to them with animations that seem natural to a guy in person coverage on a reciever. As long as you are within a couple of feet you are getting this little"bonus" to coverage.
How that performs just time (a couple of weeks) will inform, but I'd count this is a positive change to gameplay. The reported bugs in Madden NFL 23 beta fucking player pictures that were wrong and were rainbow colored arms. Not 1 gameplay associated issue. The very same people playing the beta are those that report here on reddit which mouthpieces are overlooking or the hair of participant x is not correct instead of identifying gameplay that is incorrect. To be honest - even if the reported bugs were gameplay associated EA would not have the ability to fix them. Their engine is limited, they would need to reprogram the whole game from scratch to even have the ability to fix minor problems - so they simply set band aid over it. M16-Madden NFL 23 are the exact same game. Nothing changed. Group aids on newer maddens however, the core problems is present since forever.
